On Thursday at 12:17 p.m. the National Weather Service released a wind advisory valid from Friday 6 a.m. until Saturday Oct. 4, at 5 a.m. for San Gorgonio Pass Near Banning.

“West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts 50 to 60 mph expected,” the NWS San Diego CA said. “Strongest winds will occur Friday afternoon and overnight.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” according to the NWS. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
