SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis. (WFRV) - Local community members in Sheboygan Falls gathered to help celebrate the life of Giovanni 'Mike' Robinson, a Canadian man who was shot and killed last week.

Robinson was in Wisconsin for a golf trip, but the community felt shocked that something like this would happen in their neck of the woods.

The memorial was planned on short notice, with the hopes that the Robinson family would know that people cared for someone who had ties to a different country.

"We figured it would be a good place to come and be able to mourn Mike and grieve along with the family," one organizer said. "The support in Sheboygan, Sheboygan County and in Sheboygan Falls has just been overwhelming, and bigger than ever."
