A Thurston County suspect was arrested Tuesday after strangling an individual that was met online through a phone app.

The two individuals in Lacey met in person, and after spending some time together, the suspect asked the victim for a ride home, the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) confirmed .

The victim drove the suspect to a random neighborhood where the suspect did not live, and the suspect began to strangle the victim.
