The woman Winter Holland-Levine sexually assaulted while recording the act with the woman's own phone told the court she did not trust the system.

After Judge Cortland Corsones sentenced Holland-Levine to three years to life in prison, suspended with probation except for five years to serve, NewStory Center Executive Director Avaloy Lanning said the court had proven the woman right. Lanning accompanied the woman during the trial and sentencing and said that while she has respected Corsones' decisions in the past, he got this one wrong.
