The Calgary Flames winger left Wednesday night’s walloping at the hands of the Vancouver Canucks after crashing into goaltender Kevin Lankinen and did not return. He wasn’t on the ice for the team’s high-intensity Thursday morning practice at the Saddledome, either. Article content Article content
“He’s going to be evaluated here this morning,” said Flames GM Craig Conroy. “Obviously, you guys saw it, we’re just going to wait to see what the doctors say. Hopefully, everything’s good. I talked to him this morning, he was in good spirits.”
