GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Michigan native and Grammy Award-winning musician Billy Strings has adopted part of I-96.

The bluegrass star has adopted a portion of I-96 near the Gerald R. Ford International Airport, he shared in a social media post.

"We adopted a highway!" the social post says.
