(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento County District Attorney's office reported that a jury convicted three suspects of first-degree murder and conspiracy to murder at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in 2020.

Bertrand Keeton, Cleveland Pratt Jr. and Lafonjaney Moultrie were each convicted of the murder of Lumont Otis on February 28, 2020. According to the DA, Keeton was also convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm as he personally and intentionally discharged a firearm, causing death.
The DA's office reported that Moultrie lured the victim to the Crowne Plaza Hotel under the guise of a “date.” Moultrie sent Pratt the victim's location on a burner phone, which was purchsed the day prior.
