Elsie Hewitt ’s road to motherhood has had its hurdles.
The actress, who is expecting her first baby with Pete Davidson , revealed she was diagnosed with endometriosis in November 2024, leaving her unsure at the time whether she would be able to get pregnant.
“I don't know what ways [endometriosis] could have been affecting my fertility before the surgery,” she told People in an interview published Oct. 2. “I was 100 percent convinced that I was infertile and not going to be able to have kids.”
The disease causes tissue similar to the uterine lining to grow outside the uterus, often causing pelvic pain and difficulty getting pregnant, according to the World Health Organization . But fortunately for Elsie, 29, she was able to undergo laparoscopic surgery to treat her ailment
