After 29 long years, European football has returned to Nottingham .
Unfortunately Nottingham Forest couldn't match the occasion, falling to an embarrassing 3-2 defeat to Danish champions FC Midtjylland in the Europa League on Thursday night (October 2).
However, it couldn't detract from the excitement prior to kick-off at the City Ground - from both sets of supporters.
