The Trump administration has cut nearly $8 billion in clean energy projects, with Democratic-led states feeling the brunt of those reductions.

Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought announced the cuts with a post on the social media platform X Wednesday, listing 16 states but providing few other details.
