ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico's busiest courthouse is once again getting new art to fill its hallways. Since 2007, the Metropolitan Courthouse has collaborated with the University of New Mexico's Department of Art to showcase artwork created by students and faculty.

The exhibit features 20 pieces from a variety of media, including archival pigment print and frescos. "The students have been so excited. We've gone through the process of selecting the artwork, they framed it, they delivered it, but I think seeing it on the courthouse walls is just something so special," said Camille Baca, Public Information Officer for Metropolitan Court.

The new artworks will hang for two years on the first three floors of the courthouse.
