ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
Sheriff's deputies recovered four dozen firearms inside an Albuquerque home.
The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office said its detectives in auto theft were working with the U.S. Marshals Service in targeting a wanted fugitive believed to be heavily armed. This led to a perimeter being set with surveillance before BCSO Special Weapons and Tactics was activated.

Deputies were able to clear the residence and remove multiple people from inside with the use of advanced technology, including drones, according to the BCSO. The case was referred to the FBI for federal charges after 48 firearms were recovered.
