Newly released bodycam footage shows country star Morgan Wallen initially denying that he threw a chair from a Nashville rooftop before his April 2024 arrest, despite later pleading guilty to reckless endangerment.

The video, released by Metro Nashville Police and obtained by WTVF , captures officers questioning the 32-year-old singer outside Eric Church’s six-story Chiefs Bar on Lower Broadway.

In the footage, Wallen’s bodyguard tells police, “He didn’t throw anything,” as officers explain a chair had crashed onto the street, nearly striking a patrol car. When told he wasn’t free to leave, Wallen responds, “I don’t know what the [expletive] just happened” and, “We’re not trying to cause no problems, man.”
