A man has been charged in connection with an alleged sex assault in August, the Surrey Police Service (SPS) says.
Police say a woman was walking near a bus stop in the area of King George Boulevard and 98th Avenue in the early morning hours of Aug. 26 when she was approached by a man who asked to use her phone.

She declined, and the man then pushed her into a nearby bush and sexually assaulted her, police said at the time.
The SPS says the victim fought off the suspect and suffered minor injuries.
According to police, the suspect had stolen a cellphone from a man in the area shortly before the woman was assaulted.
42-year-old Kulwinder Mann has been charged with sexual assault, assault, and theft under $5,000.
