JONESPORT — A developer is offering a rare chance to own a piece of Downeast waterfront property later this month.

On Saturday, Oct. 25, more than a dozen lots in a new development called Seaberry Landing will be available for purchase — but only for one day.

“We bought a 50-acre farm on the ocean, and we divided it into a total of 14 properties,” said Daniel Girouard, regional manager for American Land Holding, the Virginia-based company behind the project.

The development includes both waterfront and waterview lots. “Out of the 14 lots, there’s three lots that are not on the water. They have views of the ocean, but they’re not waterfront lots,” Girouard said.
