A water tender assisting with the continued monitoring and cleanup of the Dragon Bravo Fire rolled over, damaging the cab and tank but not injuring the driver, in a single-vehicle crash Saturday, Sep. 27.
According to an incident report released by the National Park Service through the Wildland Fire Lessons Learned Center , the vehicle was traveling on a recently maintained road. While moving to the side of the road to provide passing space for another vehicle, the tender’s rear wheels started sinking into the soft shoulder. Copy article link
