CRANFORD, N.J. (PIX11)-- Hearts are continuing to ache in Cranford after the murders of two teenage girls who police say were intentionally run down while riding their bikes.
"Everyone's down, everyone's- we're taking this time to love and try to move on from what's happened," said resident Tristan Ridall.
The town mourns the losses of Maria Niotis and Isabella Salas. Ridall said he is close with Niotis' brother. Like countless others, he's come to the memorial on Burnside Avenue to pay his respects.
"It's been kind of hard to get back into the swing of things, like work and school and all that," said Ridall.
A 17-year-old boy from Garwood has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the incident on Monday evening. It's not yet clear if the boy will be cha
