LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

DeSales football climbed back to .500 with a commanding 35-7 win over Bishop Brossart last Friday, fueled by a standout night from senior quarterback Cameron Bischoff. Bischoff threw for 187 yards and two touchdowns and also led the Colts on the ground with 80 rushing yards and two more scores, delivering four total touchdowns to secure the team’s third victory of the season.

“That’s a big step improvement for us from where we were at the beginning of the year,” head coach Mike Jackson said. “We lost almost all of our receivers last year. All he’s done is do better this year statistically. There’s a lot more on him in the mental game —understanding his reads and protections, recognizing when it’s time to scramble and when it’s time to unload the ball.”
