RUTLAND, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - The group Rutland County Indivisible, which describes itself as committed to the "importance of electoral politics and the transformative power of non-violent action," has announced a unique way of encouraging students to learn about the nation's foundational law.

According to people with the group, participating teachers in Rutland County will be able to give out certificates to any student who learns the 52-word preamble to the U.S. Constitution by heart - and they make sure to note that second tries are encouraged. Those certificates then can be redeemed at Jones' Donuts on West Street in Rutland from November 1 through 8.
