Pittsburgh Steelers' DeShon Elliott has choice words for NFL over silly Week 4 fine

Pittsburgh Steelers safety DeShon Elliott will be a little lighter in the wallet after he was fined for a uniform infraction following the Week 4 game against the Minnesota Vikings .

According to a letter from the NFL that was shared by Elliott on social media, an unauthorized towel is the reason for Elliott's fine. More specifically, a black towel Elliott wore was the culprit of his being hit for $5,797.

"Towels, provided they are white only, licensed towels approved by the League office for use on the playing field," the rule states. "Players are prohibited from adding personal messages, logos, names, symbols or illustrations."
