The long-range forecast for October might be a little misleading to you. It is a warmer-than-normal forecast, but with something I want you to know.

First, you should know it’s going to be hard to stay as warm as this weekend. We could have a record high temperature or two in Michigan this weekend. Most of the record high temperatures are around 87 degrees this weekend. The high temperature forecasts in central Michigan are 86 to 87 degrees Saturday and Sunday.

Remember that our long-term average high temperatures are in the mid-60s now, and going down one degree every three days.

The October weather pattern looks like we are going to get into up-and-down temperatures which will bring some days that actually feel like fall.
