LEBANON, N.H. (WCAX) - Lebanon, New Hampshire’s new city manager has been on the job for one month and has a big agenda, including delivering a balanced budget, clean water, and sustainable solid waste disposal.
Andrew Hosmer comes to Lebanon with a mix of both public and private sector experience. He‘s a former New Hampshire state senator, and most recently, the mayor of Laconia.
When he presents his budget to the City Council at the end of this month, he says it will strike a balance between investments for future growth and the burden that it has on the taxpayer. “Many people out there are struggling to not only pay their taxes, but keep a roof over their head and make sure that they have got enough money to pay for the basics,” Hosmer said.
