SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — AQ Chicken House announced it will open a new restaurant in Downtown Springdale in spring 2026.

The new building is located at 100 W. Emma Avenue, next to Onyx Coffee, according to a new release.

“With deep roots in Downtown Springdale and AQ’s own long history in the community, this location felt like the perfect place to write the next chapter of the AQ story,” the restaurant's announcement stated.

Originally, plans were in place to build a new restaurant near the Elm Springs exit. However, rising construction costs made that project unfeasible.

Bill Rogers, President and CEO of the Springdale Chamber of Commerce, issued the following statement in a news release.
