The afternoon skies bubbled up with clouds Thursday afternoon, and even a few isolated showers. The shower activity has been confined to locations south of I-44 and should pull off a quick disappearing act once we get to sunset.

The feature that helped bring a small uptick in rain chances will lift across the area tonight, exiting Friday morning. This will bring dry conditions back to all of the Ozarks for Friday through the weekend.

The weekend looks fine for outdoor activities, although warm for early October. Look for morning lows near 60° with highs in the mid 80s. Humidity levels will remain comfortably low. There will be a bit more of a breeze both Saturday and Sunday.
