It’s official. Alabama’s Rock the South festival is moving to Decatur in 2026. Dates for next year’s event are Thursday, June 11, through Saturday, June 13.

Organizers for the popular music festival confirmed the news on Thursday, after teasing a “big announcement” on social media and fueling speculation among fans.

After 14 years in Cullman, Rock the South is heading north to a property called The Fields in Decatur. Concert promoter Peachtree Entertainment will own the site, according to a news release, “allowing organizers to invest in long-term infrastructure and fan-first improvements designed to elevate the experience year after year.”
