In honor of the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Helene, Chief Meteorologist Jenna Petracci spoke with two incredible women from Buke County who had to rebuild their homes after the storm. It took them around six months to move back into their family homes. They will never forget that terrible night and the aftermath of the storm.

Christy Palmer, a teacher at Waynesboro Primary School, vividly remembers the moment that Helene began to impact her community.
