Scott Goodpaster, commissioned to create the art for the 2025 Zeeco Oktoberfest poster, took what he called a more fine art approach than what has been done with past Oktoberfest posters.

“Some of my first ideas I realized had been done in the past by many talented poster artists,” the Tulsa-based artist said.

As a result, you won’t see a glockenspiel or a bratwurst or a pretzel on Goodpaster’s poster.

You’ll see lots of green because he chose to focus on the noble hop vine.

“It is very important to Bavarian culture and agriculture,” Goodpaster said, adding that the whole Oktoberfest experience would be nothing without the hop because it’s a key component of beer — or you can call it “bier,” if you really want to get into the spirit.
