LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Warm dry air is in control of a good deal of the nation’s weather. Cool airmasses are tracking eastward across the northern tier of states, not south toward Texas. Our afternoons will continue to reach the 90’s with fairly low afternoon humidity. Dawns will be comfortably cool. There are indications that the lower atmosphere will become a little more moist beginning Sunday with somewhat warmer dawn temperatures. Out of respect for a somewhat deeper layer of moisture by mid next week, I will show low end shower chances.
