MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Edgewood senior quarterback Gannon Bagstad has always been natural in what he does.
A natural on the field. A natural-born leader.
“It’s just natural for him,” head coach Jesse Norris said. “He naturally has a positive influence. People are drawn to him.”
But for Gannon, it hasn’t always felt natural.
“Sometimes I struggle with that I was a little quiet and didn’t speak up,” Bagstad said. “This year as a senior, it’s a lot easier to speak up and I feel like that was one of my goals.”
A goal that is finally starting to pay off.
Now 6-0 on the season and tied for first in the Badger-Small conference, everything is finally beginning to click on the field for the Crusaders.
Something that Bagstad has been waiting for, in all of his three years at the helm.
