CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Tigers erupted for four runs in the seventh inning and held on to defeat the Guardians, 6-3, in Game 3 of the American League wild card series on Thursday at Progressive Field.

The loss eliminates the AL Central Division Champion Guardians from the postseason.
