An Orlando man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly stabbing his father to death after being turned in to police by a relative, according to the Orlando Police Department.

Christopher Alexander Brown, 32, lived with his father, 59-year-old Henry Brown, and a female relative at their apartment on South Ivey Lane. The female relative later told officers Christopher got into an argument with Henry on Monday because he wanted her and Henry to fight people they didn’t know, according to Christopher’s arrest report. OPD did not specify how the female relative is related to the father and son.

The woman said she went to lay down in her room while the two argued, but not long afterward heard Henry say, “My daughter needs me” before hearing Henry make a noise, which the report notes is believed to
