Another historic chapter will be added to the Yankees-Red Sox rivalry Thursday night.

The Yankees and Boston clash in Game 3 of the AL wild-card series at Yankee Stadium, with the winner advancing to face the Blue Jays in the ALDS and the loser heading home early.

The Bronx Bombers are turning to rookie righty Cam Schlittler, while the Red Sox are countering with rookie southpaw Connelly Early .

Both teams surely feel the series should be over already, with the Yankees blowing a Game 1 lead in Boston’s 3-1 win and the Yankees taking advantage of Boston mistakes in the 4-3 Game 2 triumph .
