Andrew Cherico is a broadcast journalism student at UCF who provides content for the "Sons of UCF" and "Knights 247" as well as Orlando Magic content for the website round table. Andrew was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy when he was two and a half years old. When he was nine years old, he lost his ability to walk. He now works on the adult advisory council at Cure SMA and shares his story at speaking events to help bring awareness to his condition and give those with similar conditions someone to look up to.
