LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Las Vegas was listed in the top 10 best foodie cities in America, according to a new survey. Several other Nevada cities also made the list further down in the ranking.

The term "foodie" is used to describe someone with a passion for food and new culinary experiences. WalletHub compiled a list of the best foodie cities in the America, which appeal to both people who prefer to cook at home and "adventurous eaters eager to sample local flavors."

WalletHub looked at over 180 cities across the United States across two metrics, "Affordability" and "Diversity, Accessibility & Quality," divided into 28 "key indicators of foodie appeal."
