An open letter to Pete Hoekstra;

You need to be reminded about what a great diplomat looks like. Since starting your cross-country tour as U.S. ambassador, you have done nothing but threaten, belittle and intimidate Canadians because our visits to your country are down. Way down.

I stood outside your hotel all weekend with my sign which read, 'Hoekstra: Take your tariffs and go home!' I know your wife stopped to read it and apparently it caught your attention since you told our mayor it was the first time you have been protested since starting your cross-Canada trip.

That's hard to believe.
