HOUSTON COUNTY, Texas — The Houston County Sheriff's Office is asking for the community's help following a recent number of vehicle burglaries.

According to a Facebook post from the sheriff's office, the burglaries took place in the hours between Wednesday, Oct. 1 and Thursday, Oct. 2. The burglarized vehicles were located near CR 1630 and CR 1635.

"Deputies and investigators have canvased the area, speaking with many residents regarding this incident," the Facebook post said.

The Facebook post encouraged anyone who wants to remain anonymous with their information to call Crime Stoppers at 936-639-TIPS (8477).

"As your law enforcement for Houston County, we want to encourage our citizens to be vigilant," the Houston County Sheriff's Office said.
