Pittsburgh Police said a man died Thursday evening after he was shot in the Hill District.
Pittsburgh Public Safety said officers were called to the 600 block of Perry Street for a three-round ShotSpotter alert at 6:53 p.m.
When police arrived they found a man in his early 20s with at least one gunshot wound to the chest. He was sent to a hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead shortly after he arrived, police said.
No arrests had been announced by police. An investigation is ongoing.
