When Sadie first arrived at the Providence Animal Center in Pennsylvania, she was just a young puppy craving warmth and affection.
She and her littermates had come from an out-of-state shelter and were placed in a two-week quarantine before they could meet potential adopters.
Once cleared, Sadie eagerly waited for a family to call her own, unaware of how difficult her path to happiness would become.
Twice The Disappointment
Because puppies are often quickly adopted, Sadie soon left the shelter for what she believed would be her forever home . Excited and hopeful, she settled in, convinced she had found the joy she’d been waiting for.
But instead of a happy ending, Sadie’s story took a painful turn.
Shortly after experiencing life beyond the shelter walls, she was brought back, c
