LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- An armored truck driver allegedly stole nearly $113,000 while transporting money to two Las Vegas casinos, according to documents the 8 News Now Investigators obtained.
Regina Valenzuela, 37, faces a felony theft charge following the incident earlier this year, records said.
In May, Sectran Security, a company that picks up and transports money, reported “an embezzlement issue” allegedly involving Valenzuela, documents said. An employee reported Valenzuela, identified in court documents as an armed truck driver and messenger, as a potential suspect, adding that about $100,000 was missing during an inventory.
