WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Carolina Classic Fair returns Friday, kicking off more than a week of rides, food, and entertainment.

The fair will run through October 3-12 at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds. Opening-day admission is $5.

Organizers said this year’s fair will feature more than 50 rides along with nightly fireworks.
