PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Portland Police say the fire that damaged Ice Cube’s tour bus in September does not appear to have been a targeted attack.
The tour bus was reportedly damaged on the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 23, when the front wheel of the bus caught fire near Southwest Oak and Broadway.
Ice Cube was in Portland for a performance at the Moda Center on Sept. 22.
Firefighters were able to extinguished the burning tire and ventilated the smoke from the bus.
Portland Police sent FOX 12 the following statement on Thursday regarding the incident:
“The front passenger tire fire of a charter bus on September 23 near the corner of SW Oak and Broadway is an open and active investigation that looks to be a random act of vandalism with no evidence of an incendiary device used to initiate
