MARION — The long-awaited return of the former Illinois Star Centre Mall is here, as Oasis Powersports has officially moved into the property to kick off what will be a flurry of new businesses within the old mall.

Referred to as a "grand re-unclosing," it marks the first new development in the STAR Bond District, taking advantage of an economic tool unique to Marion.
