Benji the dog visits the San Diego Zoo in July 1980

July 5, 1980 Benji was the biggest canine star since Lassie back in 1980 when he visited the San Diego Zoo. He had a lot of tricks up his paw, performing for a large crowd. Janet Zappala had the fun assignment that day.
