WINDBER, Pa. – Windber Borough officials took a big step toward opening the borough’s roads to all-terrain vehicle traffic this week, with a final decision set for Oct. 13.
Windber Borough Council voted Monday to advertise an ordinance that would permit ATVs, side-by-sides and similar recreational vehicles to use borough streets – following moves by Meyersdale, Berlin and a growing number of other Somerset County communities. ×
