The Los Angeles Rams trail the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 17-7 after the first half of play and S.F. has mostly dominated this game.

The Rams came out flat to start the game as Mac Jones’ opening drive was a pristine one ending with a wide-open touchdown throw to the endzone as S.F. took a 7-0 lead after the extra point.

L.A.’s lackluster start carried throughout the first quarter and if you didn’t know the 49ers were playing without their top receivers, you wouldn’t have known because the 49er’s backups beat up on the Rams starters.

No matter the down and distance, S.F. found a way to get the yardage they needed to make L.A.’s defense look futile, and to San Fran’s credit, they didn’t really allow the Rams offense on the field, so how could they get in rhythm?
