WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — The Drone Light Festival returns to Exploration Place Oct. 3–5, but organizers are watching the forecast closely after storms disrupted last year’s event.

“Unfortunately, what you can’t control is the Kansas weather, so we have to have a window in the evening, about 45 minutes to an hour long, rain-free. So once again, this year, we have a rain date on Monday,” said Laura Roddy, vice president for advancement at Exploration Place.
