Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua is off to a sensational start to the 2025 season — and now it's historic.

After recording his eighth catch of the game in the fourth quarter against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night at SoFi Stadium, Nacua set an NFL record .

With 50 catches on the season, Nacua is the first player in league history to record 50 or more catches in the first five games of a campaign.

Entering the game, Nacua posted 42 catches for 503 yards and one touchdown, with the receptions and yardage totals both being tops in the NFL.
