Riverside remained perfect in District 1-4A, Division 1 with a 57-13 road win at Bowie on Thursday.

The Rangers improved to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in district. Bowie fell to 0-6 overall and 0-4 in district. The Rangers extended their win streak to three games.

The Rangers led 35-0 at the half in part due to three Bowie turnovers. The Bears moved the ball well, but fumbled at the Riverside 42 and at the Riveride one-yard line to set up scores by the Rangers.

UTEP commit Johan Camacho recovered a fumble and caught a touchdown pass for Bowie in the second half.

Riverside is back home on Friday, Oct. 10 vs. San Elizario and Bowie is off.
