BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green Parks and Rec has been working on a Master Plan throughout 2025 to make improvements to park life in the community. Thursday, they held a second community engagement meeting, which have proven to be very valuable.
“We’re not surprised because anything that comes down to parks and recreation is always well received, and our community is very, very willing to give us information on that. It means a lot, and we know it does. Our public shows up in our parks. They take it very serious, and we’re very proud to serve them,” BGPR director Brent Belcher says.
The feedback has proven very valuable as well, as the Parks and Rec team is in the final stages of drafting up that plan.
