Two teams that haven’t been to the American League Championship in over a decade enter the ALDS.

On Saturday, April 4, Cal Raleigh’s Seattle Mariners (whose last ALCS appearance was way back in 2001 when the All-Star catcher was just four) will host Tarik Skubal’s Detroit Tigers (they last made it in 2013) at T-Mobile Park in the first game of the hotly-anticipated five-game series that determines who ends their postseason drought and who goes home for the long winter.
